hey all, it's me zander. i've gotten a lot of great feedback about the way the website looks, and i just wanna say thank you to everyone who reached out. it means a lot to me to have a cool ".com" in a world where websites aren't really relevant anymore so thank you for humoring me on this one. next up is revamping this "blog." i already have some ideas so stay tuned (seriously). at the time of writing this i'm in coastal Virginia with my girlfriend visiting family, and i think allison is at home playing minecraft or something. feel free to ask us how that's going on social media or by pigeon or whateva.

okay now for the interesting stuff:

we're working on new music!

...i promise. i couldn't be more excited about it. i'm also really bad at keeping secrets so i'm trying my best to not spoil anything. so far we've written more demos for it than we did for Buy Me Flowers, so no promises or anything but this one might be longer? unrelated question, would you guys consider 8 songs to be an album or an EP? or does it not really matter that much anymore. i've always said beauty is in the eye of the beholder and i think it's really one of those things. whatever that means.

we've also got a roadmap for when we'd like to get this show on the road (both physically and metaphorically), and that's got me really excited as well. it's always been a big dream of mine for my music to let me see the world, so fingers crossed. sidenote: if you've always wanted to see a smallboats show but you live too far away, i hear ya. comment below where you're at and let your friends know about us, maybe if enough of us want it bad enough it will happen.

(side-sidenote: to everybody who has travelled across state/country lines to see us: it makes no sense that i even get to say that. getting to meet you all have been some of the most special, humbling, and awe-inspiring moments of my entire life. thank you, from the bottom of my heart. i'll take you everywhere i go <3)
